#309 Texture

Hey hey hello!

This week I really wanted to draw, so I designed some fabrics. Patterns ~ woot woooootttt!! Repetition combined with texture is my happy place.

For this one, I started here. I drew this on grey construction paper with pastels. Pastels are my favorite medium because it’s essentially finger painting but erasers work.

This feels like it could be used to make pants, as a print or a burnout brocade.

Alternatively, this would be a sick wallpaper.

Multiplied the motif and voilà, even more wallpaper.

Then I picked up an old project and made this thing:

it’s pipe cleaners braided by threes and then woven together. I want to turn it into a handbag of sorts. Alternatively, made in some type of painted canvas.

Not feeling very funny this week, but in good spirits. Just busy hands and speeding thoughts.
